Phase equilibria in the electrolyte systems LiPF6-diethyl carbonate- propylene carbonate

The full solubility diagram of the ternary system lithium hexafluorophosphate (LiPF₆) – diethyl carbonate (DEC) – propylene carbonate (PC) was studied by means of the section method. A three-phase equilibrium of peritectic nature was found to exist, lithium hexafluorophosphate and LiPF6 DEC crystal solvate being its solid phases. The compositions of the crystallizing solid phases obtained graphically (the section method) were confirmed with the aid of various techniques of physicochemical analysis.
