Ensuring of explosion safety for lithium cells

The paper provides a classification of chemical power sources by their explosion danger, the causes of possible explosions of lithium power sources, in particular, lithium-thionylchloride batteries, are analyzed. A number of design and technological approaches are proposed to make lithium power sources more fire-proof and explosion-proof.
